Our space will conjure the spirit of the 60s and 70s on the Westside of Chicago when porches, and corners were bustling with sandwich shops, outdoor markets, and lounges. Our neighborhood bar’s eclectic mix of music, food, and beverages will provide a nostalgic and comforting vibe for the community.

The Virgie is named after the grandmother of our founder. Virgie has been cooking, serving, and welcoming in the community on Chicago’s westside since the 1960s and The Virgie will carry that torch. Through family ties, connection, and true hospitality we plan to transform our humble and beautiful community.
